School delays and closings for August 10, 2023

Some Tennessee Valley schools are delaying their start times on August 10, 2023, due to the threat of severe weather. Please check back for updates.

Marshall County Schools – 2 hour delay

Morgan County schools – 2 hour delay

Fort Payne City Schools – 2 hour delay. Buses will run two and half hours later than normal.

Dekalb County Schools – 2 hour delay

Cornerstone Christian Academy – 2 hour delay

Jackson County Schools – 2 hour delay

Jackson County Courthouse – 2 hour delay

Scottsboro City Schools – 2 hour delay
Nelson, Caldwell, and Collins will open their doors at 9:15 a.m. and the Tardy Bell will ring at 9:45 a.m. SJHS and SHS will open their doors at 9:45 a.m. and the Tardy Bell will ring at 10:10 a.m. Buses will run exactly two hours later than normal time.
