Northmont High School will be closed Monday so students can attend the funeral of a senior killed in a crash last week. Northmont senior Chris Gwynne, 19, died in an early morning single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cambridge Avenue and Salem Avenue on April 30.
The funeral will be held Monday at 12 p.m. at the Rhema Lighthouse Christian Center. A visitation will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., according to his obituary.
Northmont City Schools posted on social media asking people to continue to keep Chris’ family and friends in their thoughts “during this heartbreaking time.”
