Lee County High School Will Reopen on Thursday Following a threat to the Campus
LEE COUNTY, N.C.
Lee County High School will reopen on Thursday following a threat to the campus. Lee County High School was closed on Wednesday due to an anonymous threat.
On the recommendation of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the decision was made to cancel classes and all other activities for the day.
According to the school’s Facebook page, the threat was made late last night. Classes will resume on a regular schedule on Thursday, March 30.
The school also indicated that metal detector screenings for staff, students, and visitors will take place until Friday.
