Jefferson County schools offer free lunch to students while classes are cancelled
(LOUISVILLE, Ky.)
Jefferson County Public Schools has closed school for four days now, because of challenges with bus routes. But even with the cancellations, students are still getting fed.
JCPS is offering free lunches for students at 33 locations.
Students can go to any of these locations for a free lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. until school is back in session.

Students do not have to attend the specific school to receive lunch from that location.
Besides lunch, each student will be provided a bag of snacks to take home with them.
